There are many products on the market that claim to assist in the reduction of cellulite. Special creams with retinol, salt scrubs and expensive tablets are common examples. Ionithermie is another, working on clay and algae principles.

Endermologie has been popular worldwide with its intense stimulation of cellulite-affected areas. VelaShape, however, moves forward in treatment principles, bringing you the next generation of cellulite therapy. VelaShape's ELOS technology surpasses its competitors because it combines four separate and natural modalities. They are safe, comfortable, and most of all effective. Let The Cellulite Institute introduce you to VelaShape, the superior cellulite solution.

What is VelaShape?

How much does the treatment cost?

A Treatments start from $250 a session, ranging between 10-16 sessions, depending on your body type.

How does it work?

The VelaShape device is based on the now well-established ELOS technology, utilising a combination of four modalities; controlled fixed wave-length Infra Red Light, Vacuum Suction, mechanical mobilisation and conducted Bipolar electrical energy.

How safe is VelaSmooth and ELOS technology?

Advances in ELOS technology make it one of the safest systems for different skin colours and types. Please do not hesitate to contact us for your free first appointment we can discuss any concerns you may have.

What is cellulite and how does VelaShape break it down?

The orange-peel look on your hip, thighs and stomach is predominantly caused by fibrous bonds which constrict and hold fatty deposits.

The VelaShape device is able to heat and metabolise the affected fatty layer, while the mechanical rollers and vacuum suction aid circulation to the area and smooth by massage. Bonds are subsequently stretched, cells are lysed (broken down) and are eliminated though lymphatic pathways. A bonus result of our treatments at The Cellulite Institute is that patients may expect general reduction in hip, thigh and stomach size.

Will it be painful?

The excellent, non-invasive technology means that you can reduce problem areas with NO surgery, NO anesthetic with NO downtime after your session! Rather, the treatments feel like a warm massage and most patients enjoy their sessions. You can resume normal activities immediately.

Who is suitable for VelaShape cellulite treatment?

Any woman or man with the visible appearance of cellulite and with any skin type is suitable. Contraindications for treatment include, among others, pregnancy, scarring or infection of the area, pacemakers, diabetes (Type I or II), photosensitising drugs and agents, known anti-coagulative or thromboembolic conditions, use of NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) or aspirin two weeks prior to treatment, and any known photosensitivity.
